Selena Gomez, an actress and singer, is a household name across the world. She is the star of Disney program Wizards of Waverly Place is one of her biggest success shows. Her full name is Selena Marie Gomez. Her full name is Selena Marie. Amanda Cornett, and Ricardo Gomez are her parents. Selena's mother was just 16 at the time Selena came into the world. Selena got her first stage show job at the age of nine in the role of Gianna in Barney and her Friends. She was among many children to have played alongside Barney, the well-known Pink Dinosaur, an anthropomorphic dinosaur. Selena participated in a number of episodes from season 7 and 8 between 2001 and 2003. As a fun fact: Selena is not the only singer who worked in Barney and the Friends during this period; Demi Lovato also was part of the ensemble cast for the show. Selena Gomez had a few auditions for different series and films in the years following the show Barney and his Friends. Her auditions did not go well.
