Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during the Preparatory stage before moving with her family to Ohio. She attended the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre at Northwestern University. Anna was working in the theatre in the Chicago area for a few years prior to trying her hand at TV and film roles. Anna's first big role was Arden, in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. She continued to appear as guest stars on a number of television movies and shows like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue through the mid 1990's, when she was cast in a recurring role in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. The mid-2000's saw her was placed in Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler is Her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully is the Deadwood film, and other movies also featured her. Gunn was also on the stage starring in the David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama The Numbered Days series, which released in 2022. The relationship with Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the narrative on Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and its eventual demise arguably echoing the same storyline of Walter White's final years of his life.
